A group of sixteen students of class VI th and VII th visited Gandhi Smriti on 28th April,2012 along with social studies teachers. An exhibition was organised in honor of all the women who participated in India's struggle freedom directly or indirectly. a musical prayer programme was presented as a tribute to women who worked in all spheres and are a part of our history in a prominent manner.
A tribute was also paid to all freedom fighters whose names are not registered in the pages of history of freedom struggle.The Chief guest Dr. V.V. Giri , Mrs. Radha Ben , Vice Chairperson of Gandhi Peace Foundation and Pamela Phillipose , senior journalist requested today"s generation to value freedom and also to remember the sacrifices of people.Some activities related to Gandhi Smriti was done in the class.
