Turkman Gate

The students of Heritage club along with the Principal Mrs. R.R. Kumar and teachers went to Turkman Gate on 3rd of Dec. It was an exciting day for everyone as they came to know about new interesting facts about old Delhi.

This walk  covered the Tomb of Shah Turkman Bayabani. The walk began with the introduction about the gates of Delhi and their importance. The relevance of the word Sufi was told. The walk proceeded to the Kalan Masjid built by Feroz Shah Tuglaq and ended with a visit to the tomb of Razia Sultan the first Muslim woman who ruled South Asia .
