The students of class 7th and 9th were taken to the Qutub Minar where they learned many interesting facts.
The students attended the first in the series of workshops on photography held by UNESCO at the Qutub Minar conducted by noted photographer Shailesh Sharma.
The students were told about the first political citadel by Islamic rulers constructed on the site of Jain and Hindu Temples. The walk covered all the major parts of the site namely the Quwwat ul-Islam Mosque, the Alai Gate, the Alai Minar, the Iron pillar, and the tombs of Iltutmish, Alauddin Khilji and Imam Zamin
