As a record, Hansraj Model School is a school which not only focuses on academics and sports but also on heritage, values, music and dance. On the occasion of Republic Day 2014, we celebrated India's 64th year of being republic by a mega extent-Indradhanush.
On this occasion, the school was beautifully decorated. The chief guest was Mr. Girish Soni, a member of Aam Aadmi Party. At first, Madam Principal and the Chief guest were escorted by NCC Cadets and flag was hoisted. Joyful melodies of patriotic songs created soulful symphonies. Also, students of various classes performed cultural dances, folk songs and gave educational speeches. From toddlers to grown ups, everybody enjoyed the event whole heartedly. All present indulged in the proud feeling of patriotism and it became a mega event.
Madam Principal greeted us and also told us some interesting facts about India. It was an unforgettable experience which taught us a lot of things about our country and our respect for it became higher. At the end, tri-color balloons were flown in air and the event came to an end with National Anthem.
