Heritage Trip -TAJ MAHAL and FATEHPUR SIKRI --AGRA 3MAY 2014
SCHOOL TRIPS ARE
FUN
The school organized a trip to
Agra for the members of SAMPADA. It is the bouquet of mughal architecture. We
departed Delhi at 5 in the morning through Volvo Bus and then reached Agra via
Yamuna Expressway. We stopped there for a little rest & then jumped into
the buses. The students were overloaded with excitement. Our first stop was The
TAJ MAHAL which is also known as the symbol of love built by Shah Jahan in the memory
of his loving wife. We came to know about many interesting facts about the
monument and also visited the mausoleum. After that we had our lunch and
departed for Fatehpur Sikri- a photographer’s delight. The Salty sun kissed air
did not bother the students as the excitement took it all over. The place
was full of palaces and we also visited the dargah of Salim Chisti- the great
Sufi saint. After that we headed back to Delhi followed by a little meal at
Yamuna Expressway. This was a memorable experience which everyone is going to
cherish in their lives.
